Given the alarming rise of cancer cases in India, the KP Foundation has recognized the urgent need to enhance cancer literacy and awareness among the Indian population. In light of this, the KP Foundation organized a cancer awareness day program at the government hospital in Kurkheda village, Gadchiroli district. The program was a resounding success, attracting over 80 participants, including Asha workers and inembers of the local community. The program featured an interactive art gallery created by the Foundation’s employees, which served as an effective tool for educating attendees about cancer and its preventive measures. This initiative is a step towards creating a more informed and proactive community, better equipped to fight against cancer.
