During the annual celebration of DaanUtsav, or the Joy of Giving Week, Team KPF organized a variety of charitable events in the KPF cluster villages located in the Telangana districts of Bhadradri Kothagudem, Asifabad, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, and Delhi. This event, observed in India from October 2-8 since 2009, serves as a platform to promote the spirit of generosity and giving within the community.

The events organized by Team KPF included a drawing contest, a kite festival and running race, cricket match, and a workshop teaching self-help group members how to make silk thread bracelets These activities were designed to foster healthy competition among the children and encourage their active participation in the events Prizes were also given out to the children who took part in the activities to further motivate them.

One of the highlights of the Daan Utsav festivities was the team’s efforts to assist a financially challenged woman in getting back on her feet. Through this initiative, Team KPF aimed to make a positive impact on the lives of the less fortunate in the community and exemplify the true spirit of giving during the Joy of Giving Week

Daan Utsav Program Talent Hunt (Running Competition) @Bhupalpally District

Naresh, the Intern of the Krishna Prasad Foundation, has recognized the vital role that sports play in shaping children’s development and has taken steps to promote this by organizing a running competition during the festival season. The event aims to identify and nurture hidden talents among children while promoting regular physical activity. This is not only beneficial for children’s physical health and development but also plays a crucial role in enhancing their mental well-being, and social skills. This competition provides a platform for children to showcase their talents, as well as improve their overall development.

Daan Utsav Program Talent Hunt (Cricket tournament) @Asifabad District

The Krishna Prasad Foundation organized a cricket tournament in Asifabad to promote sportsmanship in children. The tournament was a success, and awards were presented to both the winners and runners-up. The Zillah Parishad Territorial Constituency (Z.P.T.C) of the Mandal also participated and showed support for the event

Daan Utsav Program Talent Hunt (Kite flying Competition) @Mulugu District

To make Indian festivals more meaningful and important to children, the Krishna Prasad Foundation held a kite flying competition. The competition aimed to foster a healthy sense of competitiveness among kids and teenagers by encouraging their active participation. The foundation’s mission is to support young individuals’ education through extracurricular activities. On this occasion, prize medals were awarded to the winners of the first, second, and third prizes. The kite flying competition inspired the kids and teens to participate with great enthusiasm. Due to the government’s lack of interest in cultural projects, the foundation is committed to teaching kids the importance of festivals and providing them with joy.

Daan Utsav Program Essay Writing @ Bengaluru

Krishna Prasad Foundation has organized an essay writing competition in a private school in Bangalore to raise awareness about the sustainable development goals. With education as the main theme, the competition aims to identify and nurture the talents of young children. In order to encourage participation, certificates of achievement will be issued to the winners. Drawing is an essential part of a child’s development, as it allows them to express their thoughts and experiences in a visual form. Through the act of drawing, children develop their knowledge, visual skills, and fine motor coordination. Recognizing the importance of this activity. Thasmitha, our Assistant Regional Director for Raichur, Karnataka, has organized a drawing competition for schoolchildren. This competition not only encourages children to be creative, but also rewards their efforts with certificates, which is a great way to boost their self-esteem and motivation.
